What does a Dental Assistant do?

Dental Assistants assist the Dentist in procedures such as fillings, Root Canals, Crowns and Bridges, Implants, Extractions etc.

A Dental Assistant's day is filled with variety and can be a very busy place to work. Your job will be very fulfilling. You will develop relationships with your patients, help them overcome their fear of the dental office, and assist the Dentist in a variety of procedures. The Dentists can't work without a Dental Assistant and there are many job openings in Austin as well as other large and small cities.

All you need to do is go to Craigslist and do a search for Dental Assistants to see how many job openings there are.

Many dental offices will do what is called a "working interview" before hiring you. We make sure you have the necessary skills to have a great "working interview" to land the job you want.

We teach our classes out of a Dental office.
