FAQ

1) Do I have to have a high school diploma to take the Dental Assisting class?

You must have graduated with a High School Diploma or GED and 

Be 18 years old( if under 18 have parents permission).

2.) Can I start work right away after finishing the Dental Assisting class?

Yes, upon graduating the class you will have the necessary education to apply for jobs immediately. You will have one year to take the test before registering with The Texas Dental Board.

3) What happens if I miss a class?

It is suggested that classes take a high priority due to the amount of material covered in each class. However, in the event that a class must be missed, a makeup class will need to be taken before one is able to finish the course.

4) How can you possibly teach Dental Assisting in 12 weeks what some schools teach in 8 months?

The Dentist that you work for isn't impressed by how many months you spend in a class room but whether you can do the job or not. Sitting at a desk for 8 months isn't going to get you the experience you need. We teach "hands on" so you have the experience and confidence you need. 

5) What is included with tuition?

Loaner Text books are included in tuition and every student will receive a set of whitening trays on themselves.The student will be required to purchase one set of scrubs on their own from any place, in any color.

6) How much is the tuition?

Tuition is $3200. We do have a 12 week payment plan. $500 down and $250 a week. Tuition will be paid in full by the time they graduate.

7) How much money can I make as a Dental Assistant?

The median annual wage for dental assistants was $41,180 or $19.80 per hour in 2020, according to The Bureau of Labor Statistics.

8) Do you have payment plans and how much are they?
